Player One

An AI team you build now, and keep for the future. Created in March 2026, Player One was likely the first visual-first agentic harness: the power that until now lived behind a command line, running on a complete computer you own.

Yours to keep

Your data is yours. The AI provider is your choice. Everything you build, create or remember is stored on a system you control.

Cost savings
Any AI, your choice

Connect Claude, GPT and others and use them at once, one per conversation. If one is rate limited, the next takes over in the order you set. Pay with a subscription you already hold or an API key.

Direct Autonomy
A team, not a chatbot

Say what you want, in chat, by voice, or from Telegram, WhatsApp, Slack or email. Bigger work is planned, split up and handed to the agents best placed to do it while you carry on the conversation.

Community Support
Memory that stays with you

Agents, memories, chats and routines live on your own system and move with you whichever AI sits underneath. Switch provider and keep everything.

Work beside it, not behind it

The conversation on one side, the work taking shape on the other. Documents, sites and charts open beside the chat and redraw as the agent edits them, so you steer while it works. When a choice is easier made by looking, the agent builds a small form or picker and your click is your reply.

Sidekick, Fold and the rest

Sidekick is the desktop companion and browser extension that lets Player One see and act on your own computer. Fold is the shared semantic memory underneath it, so what your agents learn is kept, searchable and yours.

Both are built and published by Generation One.

Run it hosted or on your own machine. The docs at docs.1p.dev cover the first hour, and the community is where it grows.
